Pioneering parachutist passes away

Sarah “Surika” Braverman, a pioneering woman who parachuted behind enemy lines during World War II and went on to help found the Israeli army’s Women’s Corps and Kibbutz Shamir, in the Upper Galilee, passed away on Sunday.
